Pixie.ai is an AI-powered image editing platform that allows users to transform photos using natural language prompts. The service is powered by API.market's image editing API.
3. API.market Integration
Our service uses API.market's multi-image-editing API to process your images. By using Pixie.ai, you acknowledge that:
- Your images are processed through API.market's infrastructure
- All images are automatically deleted by API.market after 24 hours
- We do not retain copies of your images beyond this 24-hour period
- API.market's terms and privacy policies also apply to image processing
4. Data Retention & Privacy
We take your privacy seriously:
- 24-Hour Auto-Deletion: All uploaded images are automatically deleted after 24 hours
- No Long-Term Storage: We do not store your images on our servers
- Metadata Only: We only retain transformation metadata (prompts, timestamps) for your history
- Local Storage: Image history is stored locally in your browser
5. Credit System
Pixie.ai operates on a credit-based system:
- New users receive 10 free credits upon signup
- Each image transformation costs 2 credits
- Credits can be purchased through our Stripe payment system
- Credits are non-refundable once purchased
- Failed transformations result in automatic credit refunds
6. Payment Terms
All payments are processed securely through Stripe:
- We do not store your payment information
- All transactions are in USD
- Credits are added immediately upon successful payment
- Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Upload illegal, harmful, or offensive content
- Violate any person's privacy or intellectual property rights
- Attempt to reverse engineer or abuse the service
- Use the service for automated or bulk processing without permission
- Upload images of minors without proper consent
8. Intellectual Property
You retain all rights to your original images. By using Pixie.ai, you grant us a temporary license to process your images for the sole purpose of providing the transformation service. This license expires when your images are deleted after 24 hours.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
Pixie.ai is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that:
- The service will be uninterrupted or error-free
- AI transformations will meet your expectations
- All image formats will be supported
- Results will be suitable for commercial use
10. Limitation of Liability
Pixie.ai and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the service.
11. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
